Photoshop is a really awesome application to make some interesting things. I always love to do some experiments on Photoshop. Although I love to experiments but I love more to share it with you guys. Today I am sharing an interesting tutorial on Photoshop. This is really easy as you can do it in 5 min or maybe less than that. All you have to do is to pay attention and do it with me.

Let’s start our tutorial now, before starting tutorial I want you to read this post about making own brushes in Photoshop. Now let me show you the final image of our tutorial. Now let’s our tutorial now. Make a new image by pressing Ctrl+N. put its size as 800x600. Put a blue gradient tool then open the blending option of this Layer. Now go to Bevel and Emboss > Texture then open extra Textures by the method shown in the screenshot below and select the highlighted Texture. Now set the Texture properties as shown below. After this press ok, now you will have a simple image. Put some text on it, I wrote Sarakuj on it. Now we have to select the whole text only. To select whole text press Ctrl and use Left Click. Whole text will be selected like below. Now select selection tool and right click on the text and select Make Work Path… Whatever comes next press OK and a new work path is created. Now create a “A” shaped brush as I told above to read my post on making own brushes in Photoshop. Now open brushes window by pressing F5 or go to Window > Brushes and set the following brush properties. Now open Layers by pressing F7 or go to Window > Layers. Right click on the text layer and set is Resterize Type. What is Resterize Type? It will just convert the text in to pixels. Now open path by going to Window > Paths and right click on the created Path. After right click select Stroke Path. Select Brush in Stroke and press OK. You text will appear like this Okay I think its ready now; you can apply some other effects on it if you need.

Do you know that you can create your own Photoshop brushes? You can get so many benefits from Photoshop brushes. Simply follow my steps to create brush.

Create a new file and then create a new Layer. You can create a new Layer by pressing Ctrl+Shift+N or by clicking the highlighted icon shown in the screenshot.

Then draw something on the Layer and delete the Background layer as shown in screenshot.

Now go to Edit > Define Brush Preset...
Then new brush will be created in the brushes, you can use it anywhere you want.

I saw so many images on internet with Tear on eye and sad faces. So i tried to make a tear by using photoshop, lets start the tutorial. Our final image can be like this...

First of take any image which you want to use in your project. I am using this one

Create a new layer, we will make Tear on it.

Now use brush tool and put a small dot below the eye as shown below.

Set the dot layer style to the Screen as shown below

Now go to the blending options of the layer and apply these settings.

Drop Shadow

Inner Shadow

Bevel and Emboss

Now your Tear should look like this
Increase the Tear size and decrease the opacity to 50%

Now your Tear is ready, now go to Filter > Liquify. Use push tool and drag the eyebrows to little bit up to make the face sad. (because a baby cannot cry and smile at the same time :P)

Now your image is ready, you can change Tear position to make it more suitable.

My brother got a new Laptop and i saw i Dell logo wallpaper in it. I liked it so i created it. So i decided to share it to you guys.
Our final image can be like this if you follow my steps, (although i am not forcing to follow my steps :P)

Simply open a new document and write text "DELL" on it with Text Tool.

Now right click on the text layer and click on "Resterize Type", it will convert the text in to pixels. Now again right on the Layer and open Blending Options.
Apply the settings shown in the image below.

Your text will have some suitable shape. Now we know that the DELL logo has little bit tinted "E" so select the alphabet "E" with Rectangular Marquee Tool and right click > free transform.

Now rotate the "E" as shown below. It will automatically adjust its blending option.

After this step right click on the DELL layer and click on the Duplicate Layer.

Now click on the Duplicated Layer and Free Transform it as shown below. (Free Transform = as we did above with alphabet "E")

Now we will create its reflection on the earth. Go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur and apply the settings shown below.

Now use the Erase Tool and remove extra parts as shown below.

and change the opacity of the layer to 60%

Now create a new layer. Press Cntrl + Shift + N to create a new Layer.

Now put a Rectangular on the new layer with Rectangular Marquee Tool and fill it with Gradient as shown in screen shot.

Now to remove the extra parts click on the DELL text layer an use Magic Wand Tool to select the DELL text. You will get this selection as shown in the screen shot.

Now select the new layer which we created to put Gradient on it and press Del. The area outside of the text will be erased as shown in the screen shot. Now set the Layer Blend Mode to "Soft Light" and opacity to 60%. You should have image as below.

As i already put a tutorial on making Shadow in Photoshop but here we will use a diffrent method because we dont want a real shadow. Create a new layer on the background.

Then use brush tool and put a line of 50-70 px as shown below and set the layer blend mode to "Soft Light" and "Opacity" to 70%.

Now Merge the first three layers e.g. DELL, DELL Copy and DELL Gradient.

Now go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise and apply Noise as shown in screen shot.

Then Select background layer and press Ctrl + F to apply Noise with same settings as previous on the background too. now this tutorials is finished. :)

People love gif animation and always wonder that how to create their own animation. I am going to tell you about the simple and easy method in Photoshop. Just use the idea and understand it, you can create your own animations if you understand this idea. Here goes the demo of the image i created. i am using Photoshop 7 because i don't have Image Ready in my Photoshop CS 4 :)

Now lets start the tutorial, choose any image which you want to use as your project.

Now duplicate the image because we will change the duplicated image to use it in Animation. Double Click on the Layer to unlock it then right click on it and click on Duplicate Layer.

Now go to Filter > Liquify,i am going to do some changing on the the Duplicated Layer. Now use push tool and Drag the eyebrows to frown them.

Now we have two images now, one is simple and the other is with changed eyebrows. Now press Ctrl+Shift+M to open image ready or click on the image ready icon in the tools.

After opening the image ready go to Window > Animation to open Animation Window.

Now here goes the real thing, you have to pay attention here. Click on the eye of the layer shown in image with number 1 (the layer will be hidden now). Now click on the number 2 icon in the Animation Window, it will Duplicate the frame.

Now in step 2 you have to do the inverse of the step 1as shown in the image. Click on the Highlighted part (eye) of the layer to hide it.

Now go to File > Save optimized as
and save your image in gif file. Your animation is ready.
